We are hearing from more and more people that are having problems with their Furby when they change the batteries. The most common problems we have come across are your Furby will only stay on for a few moments, it won’t wake up or Furby’s eyes stay black and dull!

Worry no more as we have a simple resolution to bring your Furby back to it’s former characteristic self!

Furby requires a strong battery and we recommend using 4 brand new alkaline batteries, such as Duracell or a similar trusted high quality brand. If you are using heavy duty, super heavy duty, generic or rechargeable batteries there is a large possibility that your Furby may not function properly. Also, when pressing the reset button, please try the following troubleshooting tips:

Tools Required:

  1. Small Phillips (Cross Head) Screwdriver
  2. Paper Clip

  1. Remove batteries from Furby
  2. Leave batteries out for a full minute
  3. Replace with Alkaline (preferably Duracell) batteries
  4. With the batteries in the toy, press the reset button (See picture below to locate reset button) for 2 seconds and release

If you follow the advice above your Furby will be fully restored!

If none of the above have fixed your dead Furby then try this eBay seller who has great feedback and knows just how to fix your Furby!
